What we do

The LHVPN mobilizes all segments of the community to improve the health of women, children and families by:

• Educating providers and consumers on topics such as:

• Racial and ethnic disparities in perinatal health;
• Relationship of chronic disease and birth outcomes;
• Cultural competence;

• Gathering, generating and analyzing local, county state and national perinatal data
  

• Coordinating perinatal health issues in the LHV region.

Use the 4 C's to eliminate disparities and improve the health of women, children and families in the region.
