Valley Regional Perinatal Forum - Improving Perinatal Health: Enhancing
Families’ Access to Care and Insurance held in Tarrytown on Thursday,
October 25, 2007, presented many challenges and solutions for improving
perinatal outcomes. This year’s conference drew 180 participants who
were eager to play a part in improving health care access in the Hudson
Valley region. Dr. Richard Carmona, 17th US Surgeon General, 2002 –
2006 President of the Canyon Ranch Institute was the keynote speaker.
