The United Way of Rockland County’s Creating Assets Savings and Hope (CASH) Program helps individuals and families get the money and assistance they’ve earned FAST by providing free income tax preparation and filing for those less able to afford a paid preparer.

You can receive this assistance if:

you qualify for the Earned Income Tax Credit;
you worked in 2007;
your family earned less than $40,000; or
you are a single person that earned less that $12,800
